Deep under the hustle and bustle of daily city life. The pavement and concrete turn into a different kind of world. The blacktop gives way to cobble stone streets. Concrete breaks away into elaborately sculpted columns that help to hold the old world up. Gargoyle statues that once stood tall and proud have now crumbled away, leaving barely a trace of what they once were. Only the locals here know of the true splendor of the city. Skulls line the walls as if stacked on top of each other like bricks and sealed in to complete the walls. Old tombs lay vacant, their residents having long been returned to live among the undead. This is the typical idea of a Necropolis. Most of these are true for this one, save for the fact that the city above them no longer thrives.

Tunnels twist in intricate patterns down here. It's easy to get turned around, even if you've been here for a while. Most of the beings that reside here use markings on the walls, carved into the skulls to help them from being turned around in the large maze. There is always a damp earthy smell down here, mixed with a slight mildew odor that seeps into just about everything.
