There are some that say these demons were responsible for the spread of the Bubonic Plague that struck Europe and Asia in the mid-1300’s. Others say that these demons were mutated because of the Plague and turned into what they are now. Whatever the story is, they are left with an uncanny ability to create plagues of their own.
Many of these demons wear a mask that instead of protecting them from others, protects others from them. They breath a very fine mist that is in essence Black Death Plague. Some wear what looks like gas masks while others wear the old timey plague doctor masks with the long nose. It’s really up to the demon and their personal preference as to what type of mask they wear.
If you are ever unlucky enough to see one of these demons without their mask on, their breath comes out as a very fine mist with both white and black specks to it. Many of these demons know that their breath is lethal to others so they stay away from others as a means to keep them safe, even if they wear a mask.
