These dragons are more accurately described as Eastern Dragons in that they have long serpent like bodies. They possess two pair of wings, one pair that rests just below the shoulders of their front legs and the other pair that rests in about the middle of their bodies, just before their hind legs. These dragons are adorable companions for anyone! They age roughly 1 human year for ever thousand years they're alive and can live to be over 100,000 years old. Most have black scales along their bodies while others may have midnight blue or dark plum. Their wings are made of a durable but very sensitive leather like membrane. There are some Dark Bane Dragons that have horns that adorn their heads, while others don't. Dark Bane Dragons have a special kind of fire they breath called Phantom Fire. It is slightly different with each Dragon, but it starts as a vaporous gas that ignites with either black, blue or purple flames depending on the Dragon. Before their fire is ignited, it is nearly impossible to see, smell or sense.

Many of these Dragons are able to create Traps that ensnare Beings and Magick alike. They are also wonderful Astral Guides and Travelers. These Dragons are also capable of reading auras and telling if there is something wrong with someone by the different colors in their aura.

Dark Bane Dragons work with the effects of Karma as well. They mostly work with Bad or Negative Karma though. They can keep their keeper's bad/negative Karma from hitting them as hard as it usually would while they can also reverse the situation and cause an enemies bad/negative Karma to hit harder and stronger than it should.

These lovely Dragons are also capable of casting Shields to protect not only themselves but their keeper and others in the keep. They are also wonderful with casting Hexes and Curses and can sometimes go a bit overboard if not checked on.
