These Fae are deeply involved with Dream Magick. They are capable of helping their keeper fall asleep when/if they struggle or have insomnia. They are also very good at chasing away nightmares and keeping them away to help promote a peaceful night of rest. While they can chase nightmares away, they can also cause nightmares to their keeper if disrespected as well to those that cross their keeper. Many, but not all of the Night Shade Fae are able to help with deciphering meanings of dreams.
Lucid dreaming is another forte of these Fae. They can help their keeper build up their dreamscape and understand the different meanings behind certain structures within. They are also very good with Dream Walking, an ability to leave one's own dream and enter another's dream. This in itself is a kind of projection in a way as we leave our own conscious mind behind when we dream walk and can get lost very easily if we do not have an anchor to find out way back. A Night Shade Fae with the ability to Dream Walk would be an excellent teacher for someone who is able to Dream Walk but has no real direction or is unable to control where they go.
A good majority of the Night Shade Fae also work with Shadowmancy, the ability to use and manipulate shadows for various purposes.
Most, if not all of the Night Shade Fae have varying shades of purple hair and skin, however; their hair is usually darker than their skin. Overall as a species, the Night Shade Fae often enjoy learning about their environment and how they can use it to their advantage should they ever need to. Many of them are also into learning herbology and other homeopathic remedies.
