While some zombies are devoid of emotions and other important traits that are different from humans, there are some types of undead that retain consciousness and even have intact memories. Most commonly, Zombies are subservient to their keeper; waiting around until they are tasked by their keeper to perform whatever it is their keeper desires of them. They are considered to be rotting corpses with little to no will of their own, however; I have met many different zombies while being a keeper and conjurer that leads me to conclude that not all zombies are stripped of their will power. Zombies are nevertheless, wonderful beings to task with guarding their keeper or any of their keeper's loved ones. Several of my zombies actually stand in the doorway to my room and warn me before anyone enters.
