This realm is like the sick and twisted version of Alice in Wonderland. Somewhere down the line, Wonderland started to have a bad acid trip that it never got over. The Nether Realm is a forlorn place, a place of nightmares.

Demons roam rampant in every corner of this realm. All manner of beings in this realm have a dark and twisted sense of morality and humor. If you aren't careful, there are many beings that would try to eat you if you were to get too close to them, or look away for too long.

The air in this realm almost feels stagnant in a way. The wind whistles eerily through the trees and hills. It's almost enough to make your skin crawl. The forests that grow are warped and malicious in a way. Trees that follow your movement as you walk by them, flowers that pick up and scurry along behind you.

The few rivers that flow in this realm are toxic to anyone not born there. They give off a faint sulfuric smell and have a dull yellowish green tint to them.
